98 2.3 CL just started making this noise a week ago. I attached a link to the video with the noise, sounds like a pulsing whine/cat. You are listening from the driver side front wheel well. It is also causing a very slight vibration in the engine. I was fairly confident that it was the tensioner pulley finally going after 215k miles. Sadly I searched the internet too much and now I'm wondering if it could be something else. Thoughts? Let me know if the link doesn't work, thanks
