97 - CL noise from rear underneth
About a month ago, I was driving around and I had four adults in my car and also luggage in the trunk. All of a sudden I started getting this noise from the back underneth of the car. Since then the noise happens frequently. It doesn’t happen all the time, but enough time to get bothered. Some time it feels like its coming from the rear breaks , but some time it happens even when I am not pressing the break. Its not a scratchy or squeeze noise. Its more of a ghaag-ghaag noise with heavier tone. FYI I had rear rotors replaced and front ones resurfaced lately and also the break pads were replaced at the same time couple of months ago. I took the car back to “precision tune” who worked on my rotor and break pads and they couldn’t find any thing on the breaks or rotor.
Any tips or comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.

does it rattle any?? i had to replace my cataylictic converter becuase the peices inside were all broken up and make a rattle noise whenever i downshifted or gave it gas....it was very annoying...
also, as i was getting that checked out i was told these cars have issues with heat shields coming loose and rattling all the time

it doesn't rattle. I have observed the following:
when I start the car fresh and cold it doesn't make the sound, but then after I drive around for a while and get into a parking lot and start driving 5/10 mph, thats when I hear the sound comming from I think from the right rear wheel. Since I had new rim on it lately , is it possible that when it gets hot from driving it expands and causing friction with the break or something else and making the noise?
