97 Cl 2.2 clutch problem
about a day ago. I was driving to school and I felt like my clutch was really loose, like there was no pressure. It was also sort of hard to shift, like I had to push to get it in to 1st gear, and I had to push the clutch really hard to the floor to get it to switch gears. I got out of school about 6 hours later, the clutch still felt loose, and I got to my friends house which was only up the road from the school. We looked at it didnn't see any thing wrong, but we could had easily been mistaken. Then Drove home about a mile, and all of the sudden I felt pressure, it just felt the same as it did a few days ago. Now, This morning it was loose again and was loose after school again, and all of the sudden I felt pressure again. I have no clue whats wrong. Does any body have any sort of information?

you probably need to bleed your slave cylinder, it you look at the tranny you will see a steel line that ends where the yoke that moves the clutch is, it has a little nipple like the one on brake calipers, that’s where you bleed it, I would explain you how to bleed a clutch but its easier if you just look it up on google, good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Clutch system only contains a small amount of fluid. If a leak develops, you will loose clutch function pretty soon. I suspect you have a leaky clutch master cylinder that will occsionally seal and work OK. Remainder of time it is bypassing fluid too fast to allow good clutch function. If you can't find any leaks, MC is your problem.
