Exclamation Tires selections...choices choices choices...

Hey guys, i just went to rotate my tires today and saw that my front tires are shot...there's almost no thread left...so now i have to get some new tires...I need some opinions:

Should i get:

1) A full set of 4 tires or

2) Just two tires since the rear ones on the car are still OK...
* If this is the way to go, where should i mount the new tires (front or rear) for better performance?

Also, I need some opinion on which tires should i buy. I was considering Falken ZE-512 at first but there doesn't seem to be a lot of feedbacks about this tire from the websites so i'm a little

Some tires i'm looking at:
  • Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
  • Avon Tech M550 A/S
  • Pirelli PZero Nero M&S
  • Falken ZE-512
  • Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

My criteria: Comfortable ride, not TOO noisy (a little is OK); Good response, Great traction wet/dry, snow doesn't matter much; at least V speed rating; good threadwear, affordable for everyday street driving...

What do you guys thing? Which should i get? needed...

im running some awesome summer performance tires. they are pretty much top 3 on tirerack when it comes to summer performance. wet is weaker, but driving slow in the rain is a good thing anyway, haha. i got advan neova ad07 in the front and bfg g-force T/A or seomthing... these are about 200-218 each and wear pretty fast... they are good if you want to get nice performance.

otherwise i'd recommend the kumho MX or michelin PS2's? not sure on the price of ps2's tho, but the kumho MX is pretty cheap, i think mid 100's.

oh and if your front are shot, might as well do it together, get all 4.

Having 2 different kinds of tires will cause you car to pull one way or another when you go over the lines/cracks on the roads. You'll notice it more on the freeways at higher speeds. It's due to the different thread designs.

Out of the choices, I'd say get the falkens or the potenzas. I am running 2 goodyear on the rear and 2 falkens and have no problem, but they're on my beater wheels that are being replaced. I always get all 4 at once, cept for this time, I just got the front 2 cuz I had snow tires and a good set of goodyears and I'm replacing all 4. But if you got the $$ get all 4 at once
