Yo flip, what's the deal on those tips on the stock muffler, I am really sick of my loud ass car and want to put my stock exhaust back on until I do something significant for power...

I want that same look you have, but just the regular chrome finish would be perfect for me... where did you get the tips?

i can't think of anything else to make gold tho, nothing else that would look clean, i'd say something with your rims, like gold lip, but i think that might be too much
or maybe gold window trim, but again i think it might be too much, i like how it is right now, just black/chrome/polished look with a touch or gold

^:ownedbythe5minuteEDIT: well anything that would look clean IMHO, but i'm pretty sure you could pull something off, your car looks so damn clean the way it is right now

ok im set im definitely gonna gold plate the center caps too guys...thanks for the confirmation!

97...thanks man, much appreciated (SICK s2k btw :o) the wheels are Taneisya Wiser 3 pc. meshies 18x8 and 18x9 ...real old school Japanese rims

gnate: they're gold plated oem tips straight from acura....these are actually a new set that my dad had laying around (he purchased a set a couple years back but never installed em)...only thing that sucks is that they tend to fade pretty quickly...might try manually gold plating them and see if its more durable

god I wish it was summer already

dude thats such an improvement. im speechless. ha i think youre officially in charge of paint details around here haha. as for the wheels, i personally wouldnt change a thing. ive envied you for those wheels for so long. after seeing that you went from the cb7 to this, i was just expecting something incredible.

thanks again for the feedback guys!!

lol black is right....one setback is rubbing...to eradicate that you have to either camber in fully and stretch tires (in which I still rubbed rim lip out back) OR alternatively roll fenders (which is risky but can be done to perfection with right tools and good paint condition).

other downsides of staggered is of course not being able to rotate tires normally, but that doesnt really bother me so long as toe is in good spec all around. Also, I get a ton of the 'car easily falls and follows grooves in the road' syndrome which is associated with wider tires. Kind of sucks but I rarely do any highway driving of any type so not much to frett about.

Hey flip, for those exhaust tips, did you just go to an acura dealer and order them? I want chrome ones...

^^ yes indeed, they're an actual oem acura part from the dealership

I'm sure you could go to your dealer and they'd have brand new silver ones

if I recall correctly my dad paid 60 bucks for the gold tips, so I'm assuming the silver
tips should be even cheaper

re-plating the rivets would look bomb--just enough to play off the subtle gold on your car.
amazing CL man--defintily one of the cleanest on azine!
