painted valve cover and clean engine bay
I got so excited over how this came out, that I had to share. I painted the valve cover, finally installed the new ignition, and cleaned up the engine bay. I think it came out real nice!

Few questions... :
1. What kind of distrubutor is that...
2. What kind of pulley is that?
3. Paint the letters red =
4. Grab a short ram for super

The cap is the msd cap with the external coil prong. I just didn't take the time to take the sticker off. The pulley is an unorthodox racing pulley. I have the crank, alt. and power steering pullies but I want to trade the two up top for the aem ones.
I was actually going to paint the letters red but didn't want to go through the extra effort. I should have though, because in retrospec it would have been as simple as an extra coat or two and a little more tape.
As far as the short ram, i can live without it. I have a k&n filter in there now and i'll be boosting in about a year or so. Any funds from now on will go towards either building the engine (first) or buying turbo parts (second).
thank for the replys

Nice work. Black was a great color choice and it looks really clean.
A possible idea that you may want to consider is to carefully sand the paint off 2.3 Vtec and/or Honda Motor Co to give it a nice metal contrast on top of the black. We did that on my friend's integra's cover (the first picture) and it came out really nice looking. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the Honda Motor Co. sanded down to the metal. I'll see if I can take a picture of it when he drives down from college.
His brothers civic's valve cover^
BTW good luck on saving up for the engine building and turbo!
