actually i lied. i made an appointment with a shop on monday.

i love the exhaust selections for the 98-02 Accord but i really dont wanna go down the aftermarket route. this Accord is OEM inspired.

Are you going to at least do custom piping for more flow as even the stocl RSX piping was larger than the tooth pick piping of the F22 motors exhaust. With the whimpy piping you cant replicate the enjoyable rumble that this muffler made on the RSX/Civic SI. In fact if you do the 2.25 piping the 2.2 liter should return an even more enjoyable mellow rumble. Pee Wee straw piping connected to a nice muffler yeilds no audible sound.

yup custom piping from the cat back. money has been a little tight since the car buisness is slow in the winter but as soon as spring starts im gonna pick up a discontiuned Vibrant race header and a carsound high flow cat.

Ah you decided to do a header after all. Awesome bro. What are the gains with vibrant header? I've never heard of this company until recently. Does it make better power than the average 5h.p. 8tq of the other mainstream brands?

yeah they have been around for a while. they have pretty good quality at an affordable price. they discontiuned products for the F23 so i'll have to find stuff of theirs sitting around at different part websites.

so back to the purpose of the thread :

got my exhaust done last night. i love the way to muffler looks and the welds and the 2.25 piping is pretty quality but im gonna have to bring it back because the muffler sits a little lower then i desire. hopefully they can modify the hangers a little bit.

i noticed a little difference in power. 5th gear on the highway pulls a little better.

ok so here are some updated shots of my car with blackhousing headlights and RSX-S exhaust. i didnt take the easy way out with blackhousing these headlights that most 6th gen Accord owners do. i masked off the corners of the housing because i think the corners painted black looks cheap.

Very nice. Any reason why you wouldn't do an easier to find stainless DC Sports header? Is there a power difference?

eh just not a fan of DC headers even though ive had them longer then i liked. just a personal preference. so im gonna save for a Vibrant race header or an H22 race header modified to fit an F23.

im saving for a carsound high flow cat too.

yeah...i kinda like the more laid back style, except for the whole driving thing...these people here cant drive for shit.

so is your exhaust done or does it have to go back? it looks like its sitting a little low, imo.

also, the blackhousings look awesome.

im more of an amber guy but the clear doesnt look too bad either. the key was that i didnt paint the corner which IMO is the easy way out.

no projectors. unless i can come across a cheap set of OEM Stanley headlights.

I'm actually a girl, no worries though.

I may pick up a 1998 Accord 5-speed sometime this week I keep missing the owners though.

I have a pretty good update that is coming up for my Accord and is VERY relevant for the CL community. All the parts will be in on friday.

But for those who care I have a new job and am still employed by Honda. I am a Service Advisor for Planet Honda in Union, NJ. For those of you who knows me were aware that i was pretty deep into the NYPD hiring process. But as of early April that did not work out for me and God had another plan.

Hey I read through all the pages and noticed something about 99 CL OEM Rims, were you talking about this one?

I was actually thinking about getting rid of mine...once I find suitable Rims for my car, but I don't wanna do a 5 lug conversion...too lazy and seemed like a hassle, Lol. I was thinking if I found Bronze Rota Grids after I pick up some coilovers, I might get rid of these.

Clean accord btw, my girl's dad has one.

What a clean 1st Gen CL. WOW is all I can say. I buy all my rotas from www.machiii.net. The next set will be from http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/ind...bcdea38b79842c as they carry the 18" concave versions that will look great on my 3rd Gen TL. Your car will look great with 17's or 18's Machiii didnt list 8in grids on their site but if they do not carry them wheeldude does. Your cars wheels are i'm pretty sure +50 offset so the +45 grids will fit nice and flush. My 1st set of Rotas for my 95 civic coupe were 16x7 +40 offset Grids. They are so light that my car accelerated quicker than the wheels I bought the car with. PM me if you need an opinion.

Too many pages...like literally too many pages. Lol. I might like Jaredbhouston went with 18x9.5+35 XXR/Sportmax 962, gold 5 spoke with 3" lip, 4 Lug.

It would be the exact copy of his car, and more. Lol.
