My Black CL

Pretty much a stock CL but oh well Just washed her was buffing out the trunk a little and the 2.3cl badge popped off so i spent like no time cleaning that gunk... was too lazy.

I need to retint the car... but i want that reflective tint again... last owner had it on her and i have no idea where to get that done at.

My camera sucks sorry... hp315 2.1mp lmao OLD camera.

you should wetsand your headlights while you are at it, all it costs you is a few bucks for sand paper, plast-x and some elbow grease!

One of my dealer friends is hooking me up with a detailer who does side job work, im hoping he can just handle the headlights for me while he restores my paint. If not ill take a crack at it, i tried to wetsand it but messed up and havent had a chance to work on it again.

Thanks yall, i have a theme in mind to mix some chrome and gold for accents, while keeping the stock appearance as much as i can.

@South Jersey New Port Richey... i had a "friend" up there, its a nice area Wish we still talked but she got a boyfriend so i dont go that way anymore, nice area for sure... spread out.

Crappy camera strikes again! Shots of my finished lighting, and my cluster which is still messed up :p With my subs.. and my purchase for future sound system.

Current

Just bought all this down here for 50$

I really wish i had a good camera to do it justice... but im in love with the lighting New low and high beams are on their way(Hyper yellow low beams, and hyper white highs+corners. Then im wanting to do red reverse lights, and red license plate lights. I also want to run a tube down the center of the car with like 5 of the dome light leds in blue, to setup a dim underglow in blue for when me and some buddies are chilling, or we're at meets. I love the look of underglow when its dim and you can't really see how it is happening. I know i can't drive with it but idm. But who knows, if or when that will ever happen :p

Like, Hate? I broke my cluster doing the conversion though :p Fuel gauge wont leave Full, and my CEL is on... with some other dimly lit lights lol.

Skateboard in the trunk FTW!! Always nice to have a board in there. I have an Element and a Sector 9 longboard in the trunk myself.

Haha i havent used that board since i was in 4th grade... i use it randomly for sitting on... or letting other people sketch... or ride it... i did use it to follow 2 chicks on an 8mile death march while they got to rollerblade :p

The Blue LEDs i love, but i added my headlights

Headlights came in, my lighting is pretty much done except for undercarriage LED and grill LED connected into my Dome, and red reverse lights + red license plate light. Thats a dream i want to do some time this year :p Then my lighting will be done.

Car parked with my flash still on Fail camera ftl!

None of the lights glare, or blind on coming traffic They're Halogen with the same look and nearly the same lighting quality as HID, without the blinding people and looking like a complete ass. Plus... you want to smile every time you see yellow covering the rear end of a car, and realize its you!

Pictures taken at 12:45 AM Pitch black outside, save for one street lamp in the distance.

Prepare to be severely harrassed by the police for having yellow low beams lol. Unless you're gonna run with high beams on all the time.

Haha ya i have been worrying about that all night, but i passed a good few with no issues, one of them in a pitch black empty neighborhood with just me and him passing by in his speed trap. So im hoping my area is lenient, i know that they are with blue lights and HID lights etc... if not im going to try that, "They're illegal? Im sorry sir i needed new bulbs and i read that yellow is safer because they're easier to see, i was only trying to be safer." While playing my Hillsong United CD and praying to god :p

But i do keep my fingers ready to snap on the high's lol

very clean car. i dont like the blue dome light tho. it makes it hard to see, should have got white LED for that. but the blue cluster looks dope.

and why not shell out for some HIDs and throw yellow bulbs in the highbeams with amber corner bulbs? would look REAL clean.

Reflective i actually like, but seeing the nice and dark black on black im leaning towards black tint once i get some $$ for it. Im down to just the Acura symbol which looks nice imo... i just have to get rid of the ghosting :p

@noet ty mate Atm im trying to save up and not spend.. but im thinking about that carbon fiber vinyl for the dash.

@asian I couldn't find any kits for our cars is it an easy retrofit from some other car? I'd rather run projectors + hid.

Wetsanded the headlights... came out alright :p Still some scratches showing but so much prettier... Thinking about doing all of the painting that i'll need an oven to do this weekend... But im trying to think out of the box... Idk if it will come out as a good idea... or a bad idea :p

My cars theme is Black and Blue... So.. I was thinking of Painting my cars Rims with a dark rich blue... havent decided what part.. lip + sides of the star... or the lip + the star... leaving the rest of it as the stock silver.... Then blacking out my headlights... but instead of black doing the same dark rich blue... then if i had the time doing the same with the SRI and valve cover but i prolly wouldnt get to those :p this is the only time i'll have free use over the oven at home... and an extra car sitting around. Any ideas as to if it might look good? A dark enough blue to blend into the black for the headlights... idk if the same dark blue is a good idea for the rims... but im leaning on it :p Comments? If you think the blue scheme is a bad idea for the headlights and stock rims let me know!

Rim Comparison... Low quality photoshop... Idk if they would stay with the same polish.. lip and star polished, of it i should polish all of it... etc...
Or just do all blue :p Paint or don't paint the lugs... Im leaning on not too if i paint the star just so it breaks it up a lil...
Lip + Inset Blue

Star Only Blue
