1250 watts each would take 100+ amps (just for 1 side), and your alternator would be dying. as far as i know average running wattage for hids is around 35 watts each. maybe you mixed in the color temperature, which would be something between 6000K and 16000K (the K is for Kelvin)

those projos look sick as hell, do u have any pix of the process?

acurazine.com decals, ha!

nice car none the less, i was pondering that the other day, bi-projecters. My friend just got M3 Projecters that have this cool shutter door that opens to allow more light through the projecter, its neat.

HID projector units usually do that. my projectors are E46 (the 03-05 BMW 3 series projectors i think, not sure), most projectors should have the shutter, when opened will act as a highbeam. currently with my setup, i will have 4 highbeams, 2 from the projecors itself when the shutter opens, and 2 from the two center stock highbeams.

If i'da done mine right from the begining, mine would have been about that, mine is up to about a grand now, but i also bought a spare set of headlights, and made my own kit piece by piece. Looks awesome man, finally got to see the pics. I like the blacked out lights, def different and one of the only new retros I've seen in a while. Nice work, hope mine come out as good as yours I'm in the middle of doing a set.

Good shit. Whip looks real clean-love the paint job and custom projo's. Nice to see you stuck with the amber corners.

Gets some darker tints if you can, its not a must though.
