Here it is, my long awaited pics with new shoes, 56k - Really?

I finally went and snapped some pics at lunch today. Now please be gentle, this is my first time attempting a photoshoot and my car is REALLY dirty from being parked in the rain.

Wheels - Work VS Edition - predecessor to VS-XX Line - 17x8 17x9 35 offset all around.
Suspension - Tein Basic

My Setting - Downtown Los Angeles

And the obligatory phone in the lip shot (DIRTaaayyy wheel)

Yes I know the car looks high, but that is as low as I can go right now and still get in my driveway, I actually scrape the lip as is.

Thanks and cheers!

how often do you drive around and how often do you go up your driveway.

yes, thats right. why waste all this time and money on these wheels and be held back by that ungodly wheelgap. With your staggered setup, having any wheelgap just makes the fitmet look ghetto. Slam that bitch so that it has a mean ass stance w/ the lip kissing the fender and it will have people gawking. worry about getting up your driveway later. Park on the st or get some boards, do what you gotta do.

i personally think that those tires are not wide enough especially in the back. the rim seems to be sticking out more then the tire which is bad because it dont give the rim any protection and it looks bad anyone else agree?

Guess I may be going lower, lol. It's currently at like 2 finger in the rear and 1 1/2 up front. For some reason, it looks WAYY higher in the pics.

Definitely way too much, esp for someone that lives in Cali. Slam that bitch!

stretched tires. A necessity when running a staggered setup and trying to go flush.

You're right, I'll prolly play with the suspension more once it stops raining - remember guys, I had someone else install and set the height - I tweaked my back/shoulder and haven't really gotten to play around with stuff in there yet.

Wife wouldn't let me go into the garage until I am better. But I am glad I went adj susp. And it really does ride good as mentioned.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I was actually okay with that height for now. Like I said, the pics really do make it look much higher. In person, looks like I could only get 1 finger in there maybe.

man, everyone's doing it now hahahah

sick rims brah....I was actually eyeing those before I went with my Wisers....I think your car would look 1000000 times sicker if you eliminated the wheel gap completely

it looks sick as is, but as others stated, with the stretched tire/staggered look, wheel gap really detracts from the overall presentation, unless you have some huge lip kit (which you don't)

I'm slightly tucking all around and I still think I'm too high, but have little to no clearance problems anywhere I go (except for occasionally scraping a mudflap, no biggie). you can do it too man...come on, do it for the team hahaha

Playah8ta, where in DT are ya? Lunch sounds cool, lol.

Flip - as you, klepto and dainfamus have said - it'll go lower. This is funny cause a good friend of mine was telling me the same thing when we first were test fitting the wheels.

So I guess "Down she goes" - lol.

Alper - I agree, when the rear goes down, i think the lip will stop scraping.

Man you guys are all bad influences, lol.

Next photo shoot, a clean car and a lower drop.
