EXTREMELY camera happy with new Fogs
I don't know why I always take so many... It's a sickness
Please don't quote this post in its entirety!
These are all on a crappy camera phone.. I was playing around with the brightness to try to show different things. But for the most part I tried to make it look how it looked to me in person. You'll probably be able to tell where it isn't natural.
The corner bulbs are looking really blue in these pictures, probably because the fogs are so yellow!
Anyway, onto the pictures.
NIGHT!
V High beams don't add all that much visibility.
V Lows and fogs on from inside the car.
V Just lows from inside the car.
V Just lowbeams from in the car.

Thanks. Our bezels look similar, but I have a shroud covering the projector body. Did you use those plumbing rings? I did and cut off a ton of these little round teeth that were all along the back.

Hey thanks! I got the actual projectors here: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Hyper-F-Gla...ctor_sku75.htm
I got the 3000k H3 HID kit from our vendor HIDeXtra. https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/hid-special-%2460-shipped-acurazine-members-723872/
I used coupon codes for both, so in all I think it was about $100 for the whole setup (HID ballasts and bulbs, fog housings and bulbs, relay, button, and mounting equipment)

Both his low beams and fog lights are HID projectors.
Shnee, looking good dude. I hope to have a thread similar to this here in a couple months, but we'll see. You know my plans and they're going to be nice and expensive, let alone time consuming... Anyway, looking good dude. I don't think I would've went with the 3k fogs, but your car, your call. I do like the way they came out though... So props

Yeah it was uncharacteristic of me to go with the 3000ks, but I wanted to go outside of my comfort zone and try something new for me. I have always liked seeing white HIDs with yellow fogs though, and now I can like it on my own car
I used to have perfectly matching white low beams, corner bulbs, and turn signals, but I guess I've just grown a bit sick of it. I eventually changed out the turn signals, and now my HIDs are a little yellower than my corner LEDs.
I would love to find some good true amber LEDs for the corners. I get a bit stiff when I see that combo of white lowbeams, amber corners, and yellow fogs

duno what R&S Strauss fogs are.
I love them, but I'm actually not concerned how they look when on in the day. If you're just referring to the housings, I like them plenty! I was trying to find some that kind of matched my retro, and it was kind of hard to do with just sellers' pictures, but I'm pleased with how they look in person. I thought they would be more round, but they are actually a little bit oval. Not much, but some.
I plan to use these actually as fogs, only using them when conditions less than good... or when driving down these long country roads in Virginia. So far I've only used them once - when it was raining.

and one more suggestion i have and your front end would look $$$ would be to use some kind of license plate bracket. i have the Zealous bracket that you can mount to the dead center of the bumper and have the plate at different angles. mine is usually straight or down at like a 30 degree angle. and since you have holes in that location it would be something i would think about.

Definitely. I actually have some mounting hardware I bought like a year ago, I've just never gotten around to it. I should make a point of getting that taken care of.

I already opened them up to see the work ahead of me and it looks like I'm gonna have to swap the reflector shield and recut the hole. Will also need to somehow get a hold of those crossfire shrouds (anyone know where to get some?) and reshape them aswell. I'll do it this spring break if I don't end up going to Cali.
