looks pretty good. Are you gonna paint it? make sure u get it securely fastened, they have a history of flying off lol.

 

lol nah man the guy i bought it from painted it to match his ack, yea im gunna use double sided tape and 6 screws ahha. btw i like your whip man. after gettin a few things i wanna go h22 but i got an auto so i gotta save for the conversion too.

Thanks bro, i appreciate it. Make sure u do your research and shop around for pricing on the swap and install. As for the lip, like Zero said, hardcore screw that thing down. Even add a little bit of gorilla glue if necessary. And i think i would look good painted the same color as your car.

 

yea im a little tight with money now but maybe eventually. im makin sure that lip is gunna be screwed mad good tho thanks for the input.

 

just buy a can of primer, color matched paint, and clear and paint it before you put it on.... please or it kills the entire purpose in my mind

it kinda looks unpainted. Only a few pull it off.

 

you might want to use more than 6 screws, i thought you meant wings west lip.
this one has a tendency to fly off.

Looks good, doesn't match the rims and color of your car, def screw it down TODAY don't try it you'll be disappointed. And please don't call it a type S lip there is no such thing as a type S 1st gen CL. That my friend is the ebay lip

yeah its the ABS e-Bay lip. nothing wrong besides the fact that it cant handle speeds over like 80 or something. it needs screwed in for sureeee.

i think if you get your headlights blackhoused and your bumper lights smoked it would look a lot better but i do like it!

 

wow, what with all the high speed hate? i've had mine over 180km/h with no problems. there are ways to fix the problems some people have had if you just use your imagination.

do this:





then use this:

to go from the 3 holes on the bottom of the lip to the bottom of the bumper to snug it up.

it's secure but if you happen to hit a raoon as i did, it'll just pop it of the bumper a little. just pulled it back over the screw and kept going.

i think if it was on too tight it would just have snapped on impact.

Well not the same exact one, I have one from a 98-01 Integra

4 screws hold it in place with no problems, that sux that these have problems unless so much care is taken

the screws just give the lip something more to grab on to. the lip is off at the moment, so can't show you really. but there's 3 holes across the front of the bumper. use either screws (selftapping metal works well) through the little holes in the straping or a small nut/bolt/washer on the bigger ones. then just cut the straps long enough to go back on an angle up to the bottom of the bumper and screw it in place.
