Those are some damn good cam phone pics. This one is my favorite.
Cuz you can see how it flows with the black tint and moonroof. Looks rugged, can't wait to see the red canadian with a grill

Hey guys, I spoke to VIS. And yes, same old story. Hoods are not here yet. They basically told me that they dont know what is on the packing slip, and that the hoods "might" arrive in April, but no time frame of when in April. From what I was told, they don't know what is on the packing slip and it sometimes it isn't accurate. Also, the carbon fiber shortage is getting really bad and will be like this for another year or two.

ATTENTION: New Carbon Fiber Weave

Due to the limited supply of carbon fiber material available, ViS Racing Sports is informing our customers about the new changes of carbon fiber weave.
We have been working diligently to look for a new carbon fiber material that will be the next big thing, but some patterns are just too small in size to completely wrap the hood without seeing the seams being joined together. Unlike our competitors who are doing this, we decided having a slightly larger weave isn’t so bad as long as the products looks great and does not have any joint seams. The new material is made for aeronautical use, which means it holds superior quality for rigidity and strength.
The new material will not affect the quality and craftsmanship of the hood. ViS Racing Sports products will still carry the high gloss clear coat and UV protectant that we are known for. All hoods will still be Grade A in quality. We appreciate your understanding.

And yes, this applies to the hoods that haven't come in yet. But i reassure you, the weave is still nice, i've seen it in person and that the hoods are still grade A and meets all vis specs in terms of quality and fitment. Also, RETAIL price on the hoods is going to be $600-700 + shipping from what I was told. So basically, you guys got the hood for a REALLY REALLY GOOD price. So all we can do is wait for those hoods to come in. I know you've been all patient, and I appreciate that. I hope you understand how bad the carbon fiber shortage is, because it is getting really bad. I would also suggest not buying any hoods off ebay or anyone you dont trust, because a lot of carbon isn't in stock right now. I have about 6 backorders of popular hoods right now for hondas and acuras, and its been well over a month. I am honest with all my customers and tell them that there will be a wait.
If you guys have anymore questions, let me know.
Thank you.
