**E36/WRX/CL** Photo Shoot
Caught up with some guys I used to work with and did a small photo shoot. Some pretty aggressive wheels on those cars.

CL in lawnmower status
i still think cl's need 18's with the wheel wells being so big
but yours looks really good, and having a smaller wheel and tire diameter means you can go that much lower, which is always good.![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
how do you like driving it so far? (with it being lowered/wheels/swap... quite a lot of things got changed in a short time for your car)
and that white bugeye looks pretty damn sick, perfect wheel size, and love the concave

great pics!
+1 on rex wheels, i bet they would look sickk on a cl too...hmmmm..
I think the cl has the best stance out of the 3, imo...but hard to compare considering its FW vs. AW vs. RW...

Thanks for the comments.
I'm glad we were all able to get up and take some photos. It's been 7 or 8 months since I've seen these guys. The BWW was stock back then and the guy with the WRX had a 240 with a CA18 swap.
You're right, especially in the rolling shot. I never got to see what they look like in motion since I'm usually the one driving it.
The lips still look great other than some scratches from the tires being mounted and dismounted. I don't do anything to them except wipe them down once a week when the car gets washed. Zoopseal FTW!
The front wheel arches are so damn big that you need an 18's to fill it up. If you notice in some of the photos, the car has positive rake but the rear tires are tucking while the front has wheel gap.
As for the mods, I really like the way the car drives with the new engine and transmission. It has much more low end power which is probably due to the shorter gearing. Makes passing much easier with less shifting. The gas mileage dropped significantly though. I can probably still get the old 28-30 mpg if I keep it at 65 mph on the highway. It's hard to do when Greyhound busses are blowing by you at 80.
I'm still undecided on the suspension. I like the way the car looks and the rough ride I can live with. It's tearing out the whole underneath of the car that bothers me. Brand new header and exhaust are both dented and scraped all to hell.
I love the way that car looks. 215's on a 9.5" wide wheel with zero camber = bad ass.
We didn't do any sort of cruising. By the time we got together, it was already 8:00 and getting dark fast. The BMW will have it's turbo kit installed soon, so I won't be any sort of competition for him. The WRX is still stock but he said he's been taking it easy because the 02/03's had weak transmissions.
