Timing belt kit enough?

I've got a 97 3.0CL. It's time to get a new timing belt on it.

Will this kit be enough?

Do I need to replace this as well?

Thanks.

Good question. And one I would like answered myself. I have a 1999 Acura CL 2.3 and the Head Gasket is blown.

I'm doing the job with a cousin and my uncle... We are using the same style Timing Belt kit but without a Hydraulic Tensioner. But how necessary is it??? Most kits don't include them and they are like 300 just to include it...

I think for the short term just going like as is but if it goes bad you replace it. Usually sludge gets build up on it somehow and you could just clean it real well.

I am also changing the coolant thermometer.
