I got and Acura CL off a trade.. didn't notice but ended up having a bad tranny..

The CL is a 2.3L they are charging me 800 dollars to replace the tranny..
But snooping through Craigslist. i came across a 96 honda accord with a H22
for 1400 ..

I was wondering if i can just buy that accord and straight swap engines and tranny.. since ive been told that accords are basically the same car. or is there more to be purchased..

I also believe that the accord is manual and my CL is auto.. Please i would like to know if its just a straight swap or just fix the tranny

You'll need a new flux capacitor.
