Hey I'm new to the group, I just wanted to ask what swap would be the best for my 2.3 CL, and what all do I need to swap, Thank you.

Justin, this guy ain't listening... Tell him to how you tuned your TL...
Jpipe, throttle body, ect... But gain for cost is tough... You'd seriously have to love this car to go this far...
P.S. don't crack the crab...

Noob question, but do you have the J30 engine?
Do you have any pics of the car? I know the paint on most of these look pretty bad from normal wear and tear... It wasn't the most durable paint from Honda...
How many miles?

Wait, saw your first post... 2.3 CL, I forget they came with the old F23... OK... So you have tge Accord engine... Indeed, a pretty slow car with the auto... It's a nice engine, but needs to be redlined, and even at redline, it's just peppy...
Absolutely zero torque below 3500 rpm... I rode in a 2001 Accord and it felt like it was slipping off the line due to the lack of torque... But no worries, with a 5-speed and bolt ons you can have a reasonably quick car... Being the I4, handing should be awesome!!!

Yeah it's the F23A1 VTEC it's decent 150hp, definitely no touque lol, it is pretty peppy though, you can actually feel the VTEC engage, but I want more torque and more power, I've Thought of Building a G23 or get a F20b, H23 or H22 I just want some advice, and since this is my first CL swap I wanna know what all modifications I would need to do.

Hmmm... IDK much about the F23 but I know it's a fuel economy engine with performance in mind...
I know the H22 from the lude is a beast for a 2.2!!!
How about a K24A2 from a TSX, wait, K is SO different from H or B or F series...
Maybe Cams for the 2.3... You've got a nice car to "tinker" with... Just not the best for power...
If you want torque, avoid Hondas unless turboed!

Yeah I'm liking the H22 option I believe it will give me what I'm looking for as far as power and torque with a few add ons and gearing it would be a nice setup. I wanted to go with a cam but the most decent one I've found is the Bisimoto 2.3 stage cam and cam gear w valve springs and it cost around $529, and if I do that I'm gonna want a piggyback system for my ECU so I can properly tune the car for the cam, I just went threw that with our EF hatch we've got crower 405a cams and it was running way too rich throwing way to much fuel but Hodata s300 and a tune fixed all that

Ok, so you have experience tuning... Based on your introductory post, it seemed that you were inexperienced for some reason... This car has the potential to be great!!! A powerful Honda 4 banger is always cool...

As has already suggested, it will cost you a heck of a lot less and be quicker to realize if you simply sell your CL and buy something faster.

Honestly, if you really want a CL, get a CL V6!!!
It's not the fastest car on earth, but it's pretty quick... Go drive a V6 Accord 98-02 or TL 1999 to kinda get the idea of what it'll be like... Atleast it will be about 3 seconds faster to 60... 7 vs 10...
Really, there are faster cars out there...
I had a TL, and like a fool, sold it... My situation changed and the new car (Kia Optima) just isn't enough power and handling for merging in my citie's traffic...
I know I could get a G35/37 for the same as another TL, but I just don't like it as much...
That being said, what other cars do you even like? I know you want a 2-door, not a Civic, and I'm assuming your budget is low, under $4,000, but I'm probably wrong...
I think a TSX may be a better fit... Hondata will add about 25hp and tq in low/mid rpms, and maybe 6-8hp at top end... It has a timing chain and likely gets better fuel economy, but it takes premium...

^well, it's all a function of money...if you cant do it, send it to a shop to do it...
I had a shop uninstall a broken engine and replaced it with a used engine for about $1300 labor and price of the engine....
then, if you can't turbo the engine yourself, you're going to have to send it to a shop for $5-10k...
then perhaps you'll need to upgrade the weaker components to help withstand the new found power....add a few grand.
now; you're in it for about $15k....
when it would take less time and money to just buy a charger scat pack with 700 horses.

Justin is totally right!
Now, I personally wouldn't be caught dead in a Charger, although, I like the newer models... About 2012 and up... Anyway, it's a cop car here, albeit a cool one, but it's an American car...
But I'm an dumbass, and Justin is right...
I just like older Hondas myself...
