Headlight Restoration kits..

hello..

which is the best headlight restoration kit to buy??some people will probably say dont spend money on one and just use toothpaste or something like that but since im not good with fixing stuff and all of that so ill just spend the extra few dollars on a kit...

but which is the "better" one to get?ive seen in person these so far

Code:
http://www.myheadlight.com/
Code:
http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,4,32
and a few others that dont have any sandpaper which im guessing wont work as well..ive read its good to put a UV wax or something afterwords (sanding kits) for a tad more protection etc

heres another ive seen but i dont have a drill

Code:

thanx

Either borrow a drill, or buy a cheap one at walmart

I used the Miguires kit that comes w/ a wheel (drill needed) and some kind or cream like stuff to apply. I used it first on my street bike because there was a decent scratch in my headlight and it worked pretty well w/ both the scratch and the slight hazing. The scratch was pretty deep so it didn't totally remove it but definitely lightened it up and there wasent to bad of a hazing in the headlights on the bike. Then I did use it on my CL and my drivers side headlight was really hazed up and after using the kit on it a few times and trying different speeds on the drill and pressures it didn't do to much, which btw I found out while doing the bike do not apply alot of pressure or use the side of the wheel they supply! Always keep it flat and try to used even pressure on the whole headlight! But anyway I would definitely recommend the Miguires kit but only if your dealing w/ just a slight hazing if it looks like you have a few years worth of crap built on there I've heard great things about the 3M kit so it all depends on what level of build up your dealing w/! And as far as how long it last? I did mine over a year ago and I wash my car regularly so I always give my headlights a little extra attention and it don't seem like any hazing has reoccured or anything so.... Good luck !

3M kit for the win! I use this on all my cars; just need a cordless drill.
