Everyone here likes the AEM V2, however it is expensive, about $250... I decided to put the money towards the HID's and ended up getting a cheaper intake on ebay. To me, the intake pipe is just a pipe and I can put on a K&N filter, see how I like it, and possibly upgrade in the future. Any intake for the 98-02 V6 Accord will fit our car.

Rear bumper mounting
Greetings All,
My 97 CL 2.2 was recently backed into by someone. The rear bumper was pushed in at the drivers side corner. I was able to pop it back out. However, the portion that raps around the side, right below the light, is pooching out. I can see a white bracket / clip behind the pooched out part. I'm assuming that there is a lip on the bumpers edge and that it is supposed to hook over the white bracket. I've tried to push it up and over the bracket but it does not stay in place. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has had experience with sort of problem.
Thanks a bunch!

Removing front bumper to remove headlight
I used the search function and found some posts about this topic. This was helpful but I can not understand how you get the plastic clips off the bumper cover that are located underneath the headlights. So, how do I get those off without removing the headlights, because I need to get the bumper cover off to remove the headlight?
I would appreciate any help.

Stock Radio Serial and Lighter Adapter
Hey guys,
After getting my alternator fixed yesterday in my 99 3.0, noone had the code for my radio so I took the console and radio out, got the serial, etc.. and put it all back in.
Only thing is that not everything lines up 100%.. there are slightly larger gaps, the shifter trim isnt flush like it was before, and the radio is able to be pushed in from the top right corner but just comes back out to where it was. I'd say the total motion is only 1/4 -1/3 of a centimeter, but it is still very annoying.
Also with everything plugged in, the lighter doesn't work now, nor does the light on the lighter....
Is this a commom problem? I guess it really shouldnt bother me that much since I want to do what another guy on this site did... I saw the pic of the console using the lighter/ashtray section for the radio and the stock radio/compartment section for an LCD.. Still it is extremely annoying to not have things perfectly back the way they were.

yeah i feel you on this. some shit didnt line up when i put my deck in, but i just took it all apart again and looked for the problem. sometimes, the trim pieces don't snap in all the way. you have to give it a little push. but don't do it too hard. also, with the deck, make sure you have all the screws in. i left out a screw because i was lazy, and found out the whole deck would move. so make sure all the screws are in and everything on the console is snapped in. a little gap is nothing major though

Also, this forum is for people who HAVE WRITTEN DIYs to post them.
Ask questions like this in normal forum. If you have a DIY request post it in the DIY request thread. I'm tired of all these people cluttering our DIY forum with non-DIYs.
