Debadging/rebadging emblems
Debadging and rebadging your emblems is relatively simple. All you need is the following:
hair dryer
dental floss (or fishing string)
goo gone
3m double sided mounting tape
To Remove:
1. Using the hair dryer, heat up the emblems for 30 seconds or so to get the adhesive loose. Then take your fishing string or floss and slowly "floss" behind the emblem. BE CAREFUL it might be HOT from the hair dryer.
2. Once you have the emblems off, use some goo gone to remove the remaining adhesive, give the spot a nice cleaning and top it off with some wax to revive the paint.
Note: the 2.2/2.3/3.0 and "acura" badge can be removed no problem. The middle "A" has adhesive and two holes drilled into the trunk
To Apply:
1. Make sure you clean the area where you are applying the badge and the back of the emblems well. Cut the 3m tape into little strips and apply to the back of the emblem, then to the car.
Note: many people use the "a-c-u-r-a" badge from the 2nd gen tl or cl. This can be found at the dealer for ~$30. The badging comes with a template and its own adhesive backing

just removed all 2.3 cl emblems
hey guys, this is my first post. i just removed the ACURA, "A", and 2.3CL badges off the back. How do i go about filling those holes where the acura "A" was? should I just put the A back on? I think it looks better without any emblems on the back. Do I need to sand and repaint the entire trunk lid?

damn that sucks. I was thinking about doing a little (dare i say) bondo work on those two holes. oh well, guess i will just get the 3m double sided tape and redo the "A". I think it looks real nice with the shaved ass, . just one more thing to add to the to-do list on her. I have had it since 68k and I just cracked 100k yesterday. I need to save the money for a homemade cat-back now. any suggestions on that?

You can bondo, but it won't look flat, like jump said, you'd have to have em ground down, cuz they don't sit flush
