i know that the solenoids on the top close to the block are a lock up control. the bolts are 10mm heads and two of the three bolts and a huge pain! remove as many components as you can to make hand and arm room.
i just joined today trying to find some help with my 1998 3.0 CL. i lost reverse. just grinds and wont ingauge. i talked to a local shop here... very reputable shop here. and they told me i need a new shift fork, reverse gear and hub. total cost with labor is 1800... i'd like to do the work myself... but i'm not positive on exactly what parts i need to order... can anyone send me a diagram detail in internal parts??? thank you all.

do you also have a diagram for the VSS or is that one of those speed sensors listed?
