Is your 2.3CL hard to start when low on gas? My car has always taken at least 2-3 more start revolutions before it will start when I have less than 1/4 tank. This is on a level surface.
I just want to make sure this is normal or maybe I need a new fuel pump? My fix has been to keep the gas tank close to full

My fuel gague is crap too, I drive 200 miles and I'm at 3/4ths of a tank, then 50 miles later I'm at 1/4th.

i think all older honda/acuras have this problem. my old integra and my cl have the very inconsistant fuel gauge. i kinda hate it. then on my buddies tl the light will come on and we can drive for like 30 or so miles with no problems

When I'm past a quarter tank, I'll turn my key to II, wait like 3 or 4 seconds for the fuel pump to pressurize, then turn the key all the way to start. Starts up as quick as a full tank.

i dont think the filter is the problem because the factory doesnt even list when to replace it. dude last time i got stuck downhill. when i start the car, it'll choke and die. there was one subaru outback in front of me keeping me from rolling down to a flat surface and i was banging the hood to start the alarm numerously trying to get the owner to come out but no one. damn i should of just broke in that biotch. o yeah it was at 11pm
