Hey Everyone,
Do me a favor and everyone post your best 1/4 mile track times. Im courious to see how everyones doing compared to me.
My best time in my 97 3.0 was a 16.5 but that was all stock.
This Fri. im goin down to KCIR to race with my new mods. I'll let you all know how it goes!

15.69 in my 2.3 at Import Wars in June at Great Lake Drag Way in Kenosha Wisconsin. Hope to improve on that greatly with the VAFC, Full Ignition, and N20

15.85 w/CAI (55 lb speaker box, 18s, full tank of gas, etc.)

Best time overall is:

14.33 @ 98.8 mph.

I have done 15.89 with just an intake - short one at that, and a trunk full of sound system, full tank of gas and work equipment. now, this Friday, I hope to do around 15.6-15.7 with nothing in the car but me and 1/4 tank of gas.

thats not bad for all the shit you had in your car.. i ran 15.7 when i had just a intake. well good luck at the track you should easly hit at least 15.7

Ok does anyone remember what they were running before all the mods? Before the intakes and bottles and all that?? I looked up the 97' 3.0 and it said it would run a 16.1 in the 1/4 mile....stock....is that right? does anyone remember what they were running before all the mods....im sure i got the factory freak 3.0 cuz mine is soooo clow for some reason!!

(could it be the extra weight i have form the 2 12's and the box in the back....i didnt think 50-75 lbs would matter much)

I wanna see what I can run w/ just my intake now. Anyone down to run to the track again? Maybe in a few weeks since you guys just went to 75/80.

My stock runs were 16.0 - 16.2 once I learned the art of the starting line in an AUTOMATIC!

Did you strip useless stuff out of your car or were you fully loaded?

My trap speed was about 85 to 86 every time.

I didn't advance the timing...but i've done it before with no improvements. Launched at a tad below 3500 rpm. Oh I took out my pass seat and spare...but that's about it. The 15.85 was my best 15.8 run and I was there w/ shatooi, dustbuster, juice, and a few others... it was a fun night.

Hey Rick, thats for showing me that...see....i donno whats wrong with mine...i even have CAI and exhaust system too...it coudnt have anything to do with the recalls and the EGR stuff coudl it? because i havnt gottten mine fixed yet..
