i believe stock is 4300K. i have a 6000K kit and it looks good. i think if you go above that it looks non stock-ish.

4300 is closest to stock, but color also depends on the brand of hid.(ebay kits)the two brands that are the shiznit are kaixen(no 4300 though) and phillips (4300 looks stock as fuck) do it,do it now.........

fyi, i have a kaixen 6k no probs as of yet *knocks on wood*

4300 is stock acura, but anything 4000-5000 looks good. 6000K is pretty blue

6000k is the furthest you want to go up if you want to keep a stock look. 4300->5000k is excellent if you want white, bright HID's.

i went 10,000k and they worked pretty well til my little fender bender. Then the damn bodyshop replaced my perfectly good 10,000K driver's side bulb w/ a 4300 stock bulb w/out telling me. Needless to say, I found out on my drive home from my grandparents' house one night when there was a huge difference in color between my bulbs. Now I have 8,000K bulbs and they work about as good. They're more of a purplish blue color, but they pick up reflectors (like on signs, construction barrels, etc) like none other. As you may have heard, the higher you go over 5000K, the less effective your lights become, especially in the rain. Well, from my experience, this is somewhat true, but I rarely drive my CL in the rain, so it's not that much of an issue and when I do, I can still see clearly, so it's not that big of a deal.
