And a Year Later . . .

Well, it's offically the 18th, here on the East Coast, and I've been on this site for a year!

I just want to give a sincere "THANKS" to all who have helped me with my car during this time!

I've received a ton of info from you folks, especially the "Old Timers"!

I had several mods (mostly cosmetic) before coming here, but since then, I got great info on speed, suspension, and wheels/tires upgrades!

I've dropped my ET by more than 2 seconds, and my car now hugs the corners! My exhaust is soooooo loud, that I can't hear the whistling CAI! I'm glad that my sound system can drown out the exhaust!

It took almost a year, but I finally can say that I have the basic mods: intake, headers, and exhaust!

Well, back to the point:

I really appreciate those who took pitty on me (in the beginning), and were patient with my many questions!

Now I need to figure out "what's next"?

The cams are going in after Christmas (along with a VAFC), and I'm getting direct port N2O.

After that, I don't see many other "go" mods. Maybe it's time to work on the body.

Any suggestions?

Actually (shhhhh, it's a secret), I may be getting a E46 M3!

It's 50/50 at this point, but possible. I'll know after Christmas.

What ever the case, I'm not getting rid of the CL--NO WAY!

I love my CL!

You could get the intake manifold extrude honed. Then have the lower runners and heads ported to match.

Yo Dust, I need to thank you for all the help and advice you've given me since I've joined this forum.

Ya never know what you'll run into when asking for advice on an internet forum, your intergity and willingness to advise and help out anyone who asks is truly commendable!

Oh yeah by the way, have you posted your Nitrous install step by step here? I'm seriously thinking about installing the ZEX kit. Done a search can't find em.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I didn't do a step-by-step thread on the Zex install.

I'd be happy to give you a hand when you do it. Just let me know.

Casper: Thanks, old man! :P

q2slinger: Good idea. I guess I can get that done at the same time as the direct-port N2O installed.

Congrats Rick.

The only suggestions I can think of right now:

1) Type S Throttle Body
2) Racing Cat
3) A good set of Racing Slicks

Whoa! It's only been a year?? You sure? I signed on 4/01 so I'm closing in on 2 years soon. You post a heck of a lot more than me though!!
Keep me in the loop about the M3. I'd like to see it if you get it.
Then you can make the CL a full track beast!

Happy Aniversary!
