YAY i finally got my tint redone!!
if any of you remember, this was my first tint experience... got totally ripped off & ended up with 4 strips of tint across the back window and reflective yellowy crap on the sides... i took the stuff off of the back myself a couple weeks after it was done, just cuz i hated looking at it.
anyway, yesterday i finally took it to an AWESOME place here in SC... they were recommended to me by a friend who's had both of his cars done there (i saw them and they looked great). so with my car, they took the old tint off the sides and put 3M smoke black 15% all the way around... it looks SO awesome!! the color goes PERFECTLY on a black car. this place also has a lifetime guarantee on everything, but so far it looks flawless. i know i paid more here than i would've at other places, but after my first tint experience i would've paid ANYTHING just to have it done right!
YAY i'm so in love with my car right now...
i'll post pics at some point today too.
*sigh* who needs a valentine when i have my tinted CL?

That's awesome. When I was looking to get my car tinted I ran accross your thread a while back. Sucks that you got ripped off like that. I never knew how it turned out, but I'm guessing he never refunded your money. Glad to see you're happy now though with a good tint job.

that looks awesome!
i cant wait till i can get mine re-done. the place by me wont take off the back window tint until May (stupid Buffalo cold weather). So i have to wait until then.
i wish i could go 15% all the way around. i think i'm gonna go 15 on back half and legal on the doors (i think its 45 or something). and possibly a light tint on the windshield

and see, this is why tint is a good investment... cuz before i got mine redone, i was sooo hung up on getting rims, even though i really can't afford them. but ever since i got my tint done, i think my car looks sooo good that i've kinda forgotten about rims (for the time being). so yea... money well spent.
