WOT vs. Tranny

WOT vs. Tranny
I am just curious how bad is it to floor it all the way down for a couple seconds. (for the tranny) And why is it bad for the tranny? Last night I got a little crazy flooring it had it WOT about 2-3 times. Usually I never take it past 4-5k because im trying to keep my REBUILT tranny in the best condition possible. When I floored it i was going like 15mph the car hesistates and then grrrrrrrrrrrrrr (intake) like 5 sec later and floored it up to about 80. I probally did this 2-3 times last night. So how bad is it really for the tranny? I try not to floor it on a regular basis. One time when i did it i had to slam on the brakes right after cause a cop was at the light.

"The Acura CL coupes are an antidote to the high-priced luxury coupe syndrome. The first line of cars from a Japanese luxury manufacturer to be built in the United States, the CL coupes were created specifically for the American market. Influenced greatly by the CL-X show car of 1995, they were designed at Acura's studio in California, and are built at Acura/Honda facilities in Ohio. The two models available are the four-cylinder 2.2 CL and V6-powered 3.0 CL. They fit into the Acura lineup between the sporty Integra coupe and TL luxury sedan. Both are aimed at a segment of the automotive marketplace that is seen as underpopulated by Acura: the affordable sports-luxury coupe."
