Hey guys i harldy post on here but i do lurk alot.

My 99 3.0 has a little less than 89,000 miles on it. Yesterday my transmission shit the bed and died. I was wondering whow much i should be looking at when i bring it to a shop.

Also does anyone know if its hard to do a air conditioning pump repair? Mine is about to go out the window as well.

The tranny will run you about $2500-3000 depending on how many things are wrong with it. The A/C could be the compressor. Shouldn't be too hard to replace but you may want a pro to do it. You don't want to screw with refrigerant if you don't know what you're doing, cuz you'll have to purge the lines. You sure it doesn't just need a recharge?
