Windshield air/defogger low

Hey all,

since it's been nasty humid here for the past 4 days, an incredible amount of fog/water condensation has been accumulating on my windshield while driving.
I used, for the first time, my A/C directly on the windshield (I bought my car a month ago) and noticed, even after pumping the fan up to max and on windshield mode only, the air was tremendously weak/low and uneffective.
Air even comes out of the 2 passenger and driver air outlets unless I lock them.

Non-Windshield (frontal, feet) air is fine and powerful.
Do you think there is a leak somewhere? Problem with the fan?

Any similar cases? Causes?

living in miami i get humidity all the time and when i use my defogger it does exactly what you said, air still comes from the side vents and the air coming out the top is not very strong even on max. im pretty sure thats how its supposed to be and it seems to do the job fine, atleast for me.
