Window will not go up or down....??
1999CL2.3.........closed door..........heard an "odd sound".........window will not go up or down. I've "manually" pulled it up so that it is shut, but it still have free travel.
If I use the switch on the door, I can hear the motor running inside the door and there is a little "grinding" at the end of each up or down stroke.
Please tell me I just knocked the window off of the lift bar?? ?? ??
How easy will it be for me to get inside my door without completely screwing up the factory seal of the door? Any special tools or replacement clips needed to return the door to original state?
Not as good of a repairman as most of you guys, so be kind!
thanks!

i actually just ran into the same problem..... and for me the problem was the wire part of it ripped and it clogged the passage way. what i did was order the reuglator and motor which comes as a whole for 75 bucks and changed it. if you dont know how to change it like i did it might take a while till you figure it out...... took me about an hour and a half.
