im going to be installing viper 791xv. will DEI 555H(bypasser for HONDA/ACURA) work for my 98 2.3 CL remote start or should i get DEI 555U (universal) which requires my spare key to be kept in to start my remote start?

i would like to keep my spare key and use DEI 555H but will this work on my 98 2.3 CL??

can anyone please help me?

I use a U, my wife's truck uses the learning type. Both work fine, just takes a littel work to get the learning module to work. Either way, your biggest issue is orientation of the loop for the key cylinder.

BTW, I don't think the 97-98 had the imobilizer. YOu may be wasting your time.

yea- get the 555u one, I got the viper 791xv- its sick...but since summer's comin out- you should try to get the automatic window roll up/down. that would be sick.

how much did you get ur 791xv for? cuz mah friend is installin dis for me and he knows wut his doing.

n yes im already looking for window module and its cheap...15$ shipped on ebay. im thinking to get 2 so i can roll it up and down hehe =D...

2 way, remote start, trunk open...wut other special stuff is in this krazee alarm dat i should know about.

and the crazy range its got on there- but some of them have longer ranges. But thats all i can think of off the top of my head...
