Why is my acura shaking ? HELP!!

Hello friends. I am a new member. I check the forum but I could not see answer of my problem.

I have 97 Acura 2.2CL. I have shaking problem. I think it comes from the engine.
I have new timing belt, water pump, new AC cluch, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and cabels.
Dealer told me that there is a little air in ABS unit.

Car is shaking between 1500rpm-2500rpm for every gear. If I drive 3000rpm for any gear I have no problem. for exp. if I drive 4th or 2nd gear 2000rpm car is shaking. If I push the gas and pass the 3000rpm, car become normal. I dont know what I need to do. I wanna get your opinions before I take the car to another shop.

Thanks for the answers.

No it does not shake when I break. Only when I accelerate, it starts to shake after 1500rpm. If I drive under 1500rpm, there is no problem.

un even cylinder compression will also cause a shake. but it will shake more at idle than at 1500rpm's. yea its prolly a mount.

Has anybody ever had the engine rebalanced? If so, how much did it cost?

Looks everything fine, mechanics says... He just think that problem might be related with distributor.
He was not sure so I did not want him to chance the part.

If distributor does not work well, is it make car shake in certain rpms ?

i was going to suggest cv boots/joints as well, but then shouldn't he be hearing a sound when he turns, or seeing some oil on the boot if there is a tear?

The dist/cap can cause a missfire which can be interperated as shaking, I supposed. But if it is a real vibration I would be thinking about the balancer thingies, since you mentioned the the timing belt being done recently, But thats a unpleasant conclusion to jump to. Will the car do it in nutral while not moving? That should rule out cv boots and tranny.

My girlfriend's 2.2 has been doing something similar and it has me confused. Hers seems to do it only when driving around 40-45 mph. The entire car vibrates for 3-5 sec then stops. I am pretty sure it is the transmission becuause it has always shifted hard and Acura really struggles with their transmissions. Thanks all for your help.
