Who has had their ECU reprogrammed at the dealership? (h22 swap related)
I'm swappin a 2000 h22a4 into my 97 Acura CL and I want to stay OBD2 for now so I can get that BAR sticker. As we all know, 97+ ECUs came with immobilizers. I've been told that I can get an ECU reprogrammed at the dealership. When I called, they said they wouldn't do it for me when I mentioned swapping an engine. I don't want to use a 96 ECU and go through the trouble of replacing the fuel injectors and such. Who here has successfully had their ECU reprogrammed? Please help..!

Big Block DOHC Type-R
96 and 97 ecu's dont have immobilizers. You cant really program OBD2 ecu's. All OBD2 H22's use the same cc injectors. You cant use your F22 ecu to drive with this swap.
