Both of my front wheel bearings are going out.....they hum like a mother, my question is how long can i drive with them in this condition before something happens. For instance them getting "welded" to the axle's??

I know CLPower aka Ghander has had these issues just wondering if anyone has any insight.....i found the bearings for like 50 a side and labor for like 25 bucks to press them out....just need to know if i can wait.

One of my wheel bearing went bad (the grease was sprayed all under the car) and I still ran on it for at least 500 miles without incident.

I must admit that I didn't know it went bad (at the time it failed) or I would have replaced it immediately.

I've needed one for thousands of miles and still haven't put it on yet, it's in the back of my car on the floor! turning in my car Sunday 11/23 for my swap, I guess I'll just do it then!

haven't had wheel bearing problems, but have had axle problems.
