What tires to go with?!?!

What tires do all you have, and how do you like them? I know a lot of people on here have kuhmo 712's and love them, how about the nitto 555's? Also, anyone have the toyo proxies? What do you think has a better grip to the road? Please only answer if you knowwhat you are talking about, i don't wanna be bullshitted.

I have Yokohama AVS ES100's in 225/40 18 and I love em. I have had no problems, noise, or bad wet traction. I had the Parada's and they wore out really uneven and they get kinda slick when its time for them to go. I only paid $138 a tire for the AVS ES 100's.

i have the nitto 555 and i payed like 115 a tire i think but i only needed 2 for the front. but i like the nitto and the tread design but the yoko avs are much better and better gripping but the price dragged me down a bit but the yoko's are the way to go. nittos are nice but not as nice as the avs'

Can anyone else confirm that? The reason i ask is cuz i might be buying a set of rims with nitto 555's on them, but 2 need to be replaced. So i was asking if it is worth it to replace the 2 fronts with nitto's or go with a brand new set of any one of the above. I need some good persuasion on which one to get, help me out. That seems like 2 for the AVS's.

I have no experience with Nitto, Toyo, or Yokohama.

My Uncle swears by his Yokohamas.

I just put on a set of the new Kuhmo MXs. I read an artical that said they performed as well as tires about $ 50 a tire more. $91 a tire at Discount. So for I realy like em.

Seriously, if you are going for Yokohamas. I would recommend the AVS es 100s cuz I have the on and they are great. Like mention above, it got a great grip on both wet and dry. I love them. but there are also two other yokohamas are good, the parada and AVS. Other yokohamas aren't that good except these three. Hope this help

Kumho's are great...just not in cold weather..takes time to warm up lots of spinnin =)

30-40 thousand miles out of them if rotated properly
good handling wet and dry
def not a snow tire...i drove in the snow in these...its pretty bad.

im on my second set...
only problem was one deep pothole..and one bubble in the sidewall...had to be replaced.
