Hey i was just wondering what the best kind of paint would be to paint the inside of the headlights.

 

A flat black should do it. Try to find high temperature paint.

 

i just use high temp engine paint from pepboys. it needs to be able to withstand at least 250 degrees and you will be fine

 

Are you sure flat black is what you guys used? Flat black looks like shit.

 

i used flat, however it changes to a semi gloss once it is exposed to high heat. i would bake the painted pieces for at least 6-8 mins at 200-250. then this doesnt happen after you put your headlamp together and end up with a rainbow effect on the iside of your lense from fumes and chemicals. every paint is diff.

 

flat black will work fine, it's a bit harder to find high temp gloss
