I got the COMPUSTAR 2WSS-AS few weeks ago and was going to install so I went to Cartoys. They asked me to pay $500 for installing everything. How much did you guys pay for the alarms and installation?? man.. I paid $250 for the alarm but the installation is $500? no way.. way to expensive.. where should i install it...

 

i got a cheap 275$ viper alarm. its alright.

 

Viper 790XV....paid $500 installed when it first came out.

 

anybody has same as mine?? and.. how does it work?
and.. what kinds of options do you guys have? engine killer and.. other stuff??

 

im about to pick up the clifford matrix 3 , 3.5 or whatever the better one is.

 

i have a auto page 650 alarm and remote starter ,trunk, window roll up and down and sun roof open and close. also have the air bags on it too.

I have the Viper 550 ESP w/ windows up and down, remote start, trunk release, and proximity (sp?) sensor. All for $500.

If you bought the alarm on your own, prepare to spend a butt load on installation. Since they can't "guarantee the product."

 

i like the carbon fiber remotes and the matrix FINALLY incoorperates a paging unit in the remote instead of a seperate unit. about god damn time. i could never tell if my truck was started with my G4. well the deep grumble from the exhaust kinda helped

 

I have the stock alarm with the shock sensor!!!

well i just dropped off my car this am and im gettn the Viper 790XV and from what i hear its the bomb

 

Valet 554r. Two way lcd remote start/alarm, ect... It does everything, works pretty good has alot of add ons u can by two. Installed it myself. Just gota wire up the trunk pop and im done. 500 seems like way to much. Only should take a day.....

 

well i got my new alarm today and just to let you all know .......
its the next best thing to sliced bread .. it will do almost everything but tie my shoes... i got the viper 790 . with a couple of up grades to it ... and there is still a couple more imm gonna get for it but i will need to save up a lil more money. this thing is bad ass , it starts the car, does windows up & down (with remote). it has a back up batt and two sirens (one outside& one inside) . remote start . it has pins all around
