Mine's weird, it just kinda stuck, when I was a kid I basically grew up on a boat. My boat(not my parents) was an 11' RIB with a 15hp motor and surface piercing prop. Topped out at 45mph. Anyway, it was called a Quicksilver 300, the 300 meant meters long...

Further growing up, I used to play a game you guys probably know of, Quake, well my first internet alias was in fact Quicksilver300, even though I have many others.
