A lot of people will tell you that the aem v2 is the "best intake" but it's expensive and it's really not worth the hype. Ebay intake with k&n is what most of us havecontrarian in fashion
ebay or named brand intakes all do the same job... all your really doing is paying for the CARB sticker

I just put in my ebay Cold air intake and it works great, sounds great when you gun it and noticeable power difference (i think because no one had ever changed the freakin air filter for the past 20k and it was blacker than asphalt lol) It's good stuff. When you can, grab a K&N for it, be just as good as any aem intake, much less the V2

personally id go wit the AEM. i HAd an Ebay intake with K & N filter before. and it was kinda iffy. of course it sounded it cool. Felt some power, but it didnt feel right. Also there was no way it passed Smog. Anyway once i got the AEM i felt the diffrence. My shifts were smoother and what not.

dont you think that its kinda dumb how one intake that gives the same ammount of HP and does the same job as the more expensive ones cant pass smog??? the reason that the more expensive intakes pass smog is because the company shells out a whole lotta cash to the gov. in order for it to be "smog legal", then they issue a CARB sticker to the company for distrubution on their products. if the company got the money for it... then i dont blame them. but i do wish i had a "smog legal" intake just so i could get the cops off my back bout that shit
say: zouts
why dont we just have a whole bunch of CARB decals printed and pass them around here so that all our ebay cais and sris which are running K&N filters ANYWAY can pass inspection (for those of you who have inspections... living in FL ftw!). i think its the filter should come with the sticker, not the tube, who gives a crap about the damn tube...
