Are both of those seats manual?

What kind of weight savings (if any) do you get swapped in RSX seats.

Not much unless you're ditching the power driver seat

I don't really like power drive seats unless they have shit like memory.

Dual manual RSX seats would be what I would be looking for.

I'm just saying you wouldn't loose much weight unless you removed the power seat motors like mine has, it does have memory on it, at least it goes back to the position it was in

I like the power seat, but i don't need it, and I certainly don't need the heated seats since it's a summer car, I really need to do this swap

lol okay well im sorry that i couldent answer your questions sooner, i have been extremly busy with work and my damn girlfriend lol well this is what i did.

the seats came with the factory rsx brackets.

1)only one hole aligned in place which was front inside (closest to center console)
so ! i had to do some customization.
2)the inside rear whole was off by half a inch so i re drilled and sucess ! a 1.5 nut with washers going threw the body to the bottom of the car then another washer and a nut.
3)the front outside (closes to the door) since it sits on the factory hill of the floor, but ther is no hole any where insight ! i drilled a small whole and tighly screwed is a bolt.
4) forth and final whole was tounching the ground but the factory bracket is bent at a angle and i just left it at that. i didnt wanna bend it or make any adjustment but the seats are solid and wont budge

yes ther manual because i didnt wanna do a full swap (lack of time)
&
our factory seats are wide'r then the rsx by a inch so ther will be extra space for your doors.

sorry for the sloppy ness but hopefully this works lol and thanks for all the comments.

It seems like in Colorado its hard to find the black leather seats... I was at the junk yard, yeah I said the junk yard, and they only had the gray leather seats. I was rather disappointed. They only wanted $200 for them and since on ebay or anywhere online its like $400 plus shipping it would be worth it to keep looking around the different junkyards and keep an eye out for parting out RSX's. I would suggest that everyone do the same looking for the RSX seats.

That sucks to hear, because I am in the market for a replacement passenger seat with black leather (since my mint condition one was destroyed when someone smashed my window in and stole my stereo a few weeks ago ), I haven't had much luck with junk yards either. Let me know if you get a hook up.

I think black seats would look just fine on a gray interior if you paint your wood trim to match. :twocents:
