Weird idle problem

I haven't driven the CL in about 3 weeks. Started it up today and was greeted with the idle bouncing around like mad. After about a minute and a half, it settles down but runs really rough. Anybody have any ideas, or should I run to my mechanic after Frances blows through. Or should I just park it under a tree ($0 comp deduct.)?

that is the iac. idle air control valve. it sits under the throttle body. and has a coolant hose going to it. it also makes ur tranny feel like it is shifting rough. easy to change only 2 bolts. (i think). try taking it off and cleaning it out. with some carb cleaner.

Yep, it sounds like the idle control valve.

Here's the install that I posted when I had to replace mine for the same reason.

Thanks for the quick replies. Looks like I don't have to park it under a tree after all.
