weapon R Secret intake

i just got my brand new intake and i took of the old OEM and tried installing it and the damn thing wont fit. does anyone have this for thier 3.0? and instead of putting the OEM back on i customized it myself and left the first peice of the intake and just added the filter to the end. is this bad, it runs fine and sound fu**ing sweet, it also whistles like a turbo.

Where does it not fit? Some more information would be useful in trying to help you. Also, have you searched? There's DIY for installing intakes on the 3.0s. I followed the guide tonight and I had no problem. I have a BOMZ short ram.

Are you sure you're connecting the pieces in the correct way, and not backwards?
Are you sure you bought the intake for the right car?
The way you have it isn't bad, but it probably sounds bad.
I did that once when we were having terrible rain storms and it sounded like a big embarrassing ass.

unfortunately that happens on here alot and intakes can be tricky to install but these questions are so prevalent that people will you so bad once u even mention it. dont sweat it
i have a 2.2 so our intakes are different, but as long as the filter is tight on the tube and the tube is connected to the Throttle body and you have the 2 vacuum hoses connected to the tube, your set

I think one other member might have had this for the 3.0 but I can't remember who it was. Did you get the intake for 98-02 accord? As long as you customized it to fit, and you like how it's mounted, you should be fine, there's not much to intakes other than a tube and filter

It's a 2 piece cold air intake, and yes cold air intakes go down into the fenderwell

It's an ebay intake with an aem bypass valve, and a k&n filter
