Venom Intake Manifold for 4 & 6 cyl CL's
Not sure if this is worth getting, but thought I mention it.
Anybody with good mechanical background be able to explain the benefits of getting this.

Well...I'm sure it flows great.....
I was under the impression that the manifolds help out A LOT when you have a turbo.
As for a NA CL 2.3 spinning only to 6200 RPM with conservative timeing and cam profiles....it is not a justified purchase for $500.
But it LOOKS cool though!!!
If I had $500 to spend...and I wanted speed...50 shot nitrous would do it.

more air more power. right? you get an exhaust for looks and sound and performance. aftermarket exhaust and headers give more performance. why? because the airflow is a lot better. intake manifold should help with a little more power.

More air more power??? That is true but I seriously doubt that a CL, be it a V6 or I4 with simple bolt-ons can flow enough air to warrant purchasing this manifold for $500. Why don't I bolt on an exhaust system with 4 inch piping? Because it wouldn't do jack.
Im sure bolting one on might help a little bit and I mean a little.
Even venom agrees with my earlier post:
Poison:
* All Manifolds are offered in Red, Blue, or polished.
* All manifolds can be matched up to 66 mm throttle body
* Increased Volumetric efficiency by 70% over stock Intake
* Ideal for Forced induction applications or heavily modified Naturally aspirated motors
* Manufactured in house @ Venom Performance
* CNC Billet 6061 T-6 aluminum
If I had a turbo or SC, or say a b18c with a hi-flo head, and built to spin to 9000 rpm....i think this might help out pretty good.
But as I stated before, I doubt the stock CL head can flow enough air to really utilize this.

i need a Intake Manifold for my h22a.. and venom is a crock of shit because they advertise them and don't sell nor make them.. and the only other one i can find is 1000 bucks.. but honestly, intake manifolds don't do a whole lot.. you bore the Throttle body out a lil and do a lil to the intake manifold to match it.. and you'll still be running the same times i'm sure.. mebbe .25 second faster.. just drop an h22a in.. don't waste your money on building a SOHC f22a.. just not worth it in the long run considering you can get an h for around 2grand.. and it'll be faster then an f22a with 2 grand into it
