VAFC vs CFH
Ok I am debating, as of now, whether to get an Apex VAFC or a Carbon fiber hood. Winter is coming soon so I wanna get one done now, and work on the other during the winter. I have the money for both, and am going to BUY both, but don't know what to get. I can get the VAFC for about $325, then I need it tuned on a dyno for about $150, then prolly should get an Air Fuel Meter. So the VAFC is more expensive than the hood. I would buy both but I dont want to Not have that money incase of an emergency or something ya know? So what do you guys think? VAFC or Carbon Fiber Hood?!

I'd say do the VAFC and tuning....dont waste your money on a a/f meter. They arent accurate enough to tell you anything (I have the apexi autotimer one). You could get a wideband a/f meter, but they are >$600.
Do the hood in your garage this winter.

Yes that is a Very good point, plus I am a dumb ass. Witner= Snow. Snow= Cant see the damn hood anyways.
So yeah i think I am just gonna go with the VAFC for now and deal with the Carbon Fiber Hood later.
You have a VAFC right? Was it hard to install?
If I go to the Dyno and they tune it, will I need to retune it if I get plugs, MSD ignition, wires, cams, or pulleys? Or is it a tottaly seperate deal. And the air fuel meter has no need correct? I am just nervous about getting one because I dont know much about them... but Angel Automotive, a Dyno shop in town knows how to tune it.
