V2- Cai

V2- Cai
I've been seeing alot about AEM's new V2 intake. I read in a magazine that it gave an RSX type-s 18 h.p. so i went to AEM site and they have a V2 tested with a 94-97 4cyl. accord. They show a dyno test and give it 8.8 h.p. peak gains and 10.6 peak torque gains. Is that much different than the regular CAI that AEM has?? Does anyone know the numbers for the CAI? i'm just wondering if the V2 would be worth the $368.75 AEM is selling it for. Also while im on the topic, what kind of intakes do you guys have, and are there any noticeable gains? I'm in need of some h.p.

Hey man, the V2 is not worth that much at all. A $50 ebay CAI will give you almost the same gains. I don't know any #'s for the regular AEM vs. generics, but the only difference is the filter and color.
Do nt waste your money on the V2!

i would have to disagree with you guys on this one cuz i thinkit is worth the extra HP that it gives you. If your looking for maximum HP gains then i think you should go for the V2 just depends on how you wish to spend your money not others opinions. But personally i would get the V2 if i had the extra cash.

personally I just dont think it will create more power. I mean "sound wave resonance?" kinda reminds me of the "tornado" air spinner people were putting inside their intakes, lol.
