Did you bypass the bose amp? The bose system runs at something like 1ohm while aftermarket runs at 4 ohms. You kinda can do it in the trunk, using a diagram just take the in wire and connect it to the out wire. (it would go into the amp and out, so u skip the amp) The bose amp is next to the tire jack in the the trunk on the right side. This would though maybe disable the speakers. I only heard of people changing out the whole thing this way.

you can not run the factory amp wth a AM headunit

tap the wires from thw stock harness for the speakers and tap them into the wires for the headunit speaker wires, i cant remember all the color, but i think purple/purplewhite, grey/greywhite, orange/orangewhite and one more but no too sure on the combination

do a search for it or ask the guys in the audio fourm on here and see what you can find out

There's no need to bypass the bose amp if you're just changing out the HU. When i first worked on my car audio. I changed out my HU without touching the stock amp and it worked fine.

u need to hook up the blue antenna wire to power the bose amp. i have a kenwood deck on the stock system..no bypassing, there is a blue wire on the harness that needs to be powered by the h/u. use the power antenna wire on the h/u or the amp wire if u have one. it will work fine. why do people keep saying u need to bypass the bose crap. prolly cause they payed some sound shop and got the "it wont work with an after market h/u speech" fell for it, didnt install thier shit them selves and have no idea what thier talkin bout. not talkin shit but if u didnt install it ur self dont give advice about something u have no idea about. i love u guys

So I know it's close to three and a half years later, but did you ever post that wiring? If so, where would I look for it?

yup signal is signal to the amp whether its a stock HU or an aftermarket one....... just tap the amp's remote-ON lead (Apparantly its BLUE) to the aftermarkey one, its gonna either be solid BLUE or BLUE/WHITE on the deck harness side. this of course just tells the amp when to turn on/off, itll probably have to be cut off from the car side harness since it probably wont be on the harness adaptor plug for the deck harness
