The ULTIMATE 1st Gen CL
If money were not an issue, what single mod would you do to improve your CL?
Keep this in mind: If your CL was the ONLY car you would ever own, what single mod would you do?
I'm just curious what "realistic" mods you all would do.

I would get Subs...if i was gonna drive this car the rest of my life, i'd have to have some bass because i cant stand listening to the radio or a cd without bass....even if it was just like a basslink...it woudnt matter..i need a little bass to make things sound better...

Better suspension and brakes.
Those are my top 3 if i were to keep this car for a long long time. but it just aint gonna happen, not worth the money to me. I have other things to spend on right now.

Personally i think it'd be funny to see a CL with Hydrolics....can u imagine seing a CL drive down the street hoppin to the beats and takin corners on 3 wheels...hehe...
i might have to change my desition from a soundsystem to hydrolics....just cuz no ones got them on a cl...(and then it'd be lowered too!...lol

If I was going to keep this car forever Id HAVE to make it a manual. The H22 Blown with a 5 speed manual tranny so I dont have to live the the fucking jerky ass tranny slipping(dumps) or whatever the damn thing is doing when I accelerate. I fall asleep at night dreaming of a transmission that dosnt throw me forward during a gear change.

I don't think just mating up a 6-speed to my 3.0 would suffice.
Also, I would beef up the suspension. I'm tired of feeling like I'm gonna flip over at high speeds in the corners!

soo...uhh.... B16B or B16A??? i know their engines but im not good with engine code talk...im guessing their fast ass DOCH Vtec 4cyls?? How much HP can the punch out??

his was a b16b and it was FULLY worked and ran close to 10K
Are you sure your buddies was a motor actually built by JUN and didn't just have JUN pieces? Because i've never ever heard of a JUN motor for that cheap. Hell most b16a gen III's sell for that much complete.

B16A is the civic SI motor B16B is the civic type R motor

i was with him when he bought the b16a1...it was only 30K mile for only $800. i think it was just the head that was work on. can't remember exactly been so long....but i know we got the motor really cheap!

yea, i've picked up a few b16a's for less then 1K. the last one we bought was a gen III JDM motor. W/ 30K it was probably a jdm motor which are always cheaper. It's nice that they require them to pull motors around 30k

A tranny with 6 speeds that could handle around 450 HP so I could get the other mods that I truly want like the Supercharger and a 100 shot wet kit. thenI would work on the suspension a little more and wreak havoc on the strip and streets!
