ahh this convo had been talked about soo much. (search) Most people dont like the typeR....neither do i. But i also dont want the standard OEM, so im customizing my own....a spoiler i dont think anyone has used on a 1st gen before.
I know there is another spoiler option. Its got the shape of the typeR...its got a LED light strip, but hes not as large/tall as the typeR...Do a search and im sure you could find it.

> is greater than. I'm a fan of the type R because it looks really sporty the OEM is too modest, and doesn't really give it any sort of aggressive look at all. I like no spoiler the best because it loooks soo smooth and maintains the body lines.

theres a whole world of spoilers out there at your disposal
1) you could get them from dealership = $$$
2) you could get them from ebay = $$$
3) you could get them from a junkyard = *<

OEM is the best. I hate the Type R cause it looks ricey on the CL. As for the OEM, it ads a level of moddest agression that looks sexy and keeps the lines of the car. If you have a plain trunk, that looks nice too, but it is the most moddest. Go OEM or none at all. OEM>(greater than)NONE>(greater than)Type R.

IMO, oem spoiler is the best, then no spoiler. I'm not a fan of the Type R, but some people make it work. Nato's car looks hot with one, and a kid near me gcfelony has one too, here's his car. I think it looks aight. But i'm still not a fan at least for my car This dude's car looks clean though, I have more pics if anyone wants to see more angles.

well i called them and went with stock oem spoiler. They said i had many choices but ultimately my car stays oem looking. I want that subtle aggresive look while maintaing class. For instance the color matched grill, the blacked out lights, the blacked out corners, debadged, Raked suspension, Dark tint basicaly a red and black onsomble. its a pic before she went into paint I know the paint looks good but it had little chips here and there and wasnt perfect

If you're trying to slice clean through a flock of migrating Geese, get the Type R. If you care about the safety of our skies however... Try on something a little more modest...
