Comptech can build a supercharger for the 3.0's.. or you can custom build a turbo too (but your tranny would probably disagree with any of that..) You might want to consider building a Dr. Evil reinforced tranny before you go F/I

Custom turbo set-up with high end parts (you don't use low grade parts when you turbo) will run north of 6k easily.

If 4 grand is too much from you, just slap yourself and trade in your car. You need 4 grand for a dr evil tranny (plus install labor) plus another 4 grand for a comptech supercharger (plus install labor) Or about 4 grand for a custom turbo setup since all your manifold piping would have to be custom made. You can't just slap a turbo on a 3.0 especially since there are no bolt on kits

or simply stop comparing your 3.0 vtec to 300hp+ brand new 06 v8 mustang. i kinda went through that i want to be faster then everyone else stage too but i slapped myself out of it. start lightly modding your cl.. change the exhaust setup, headers, intake, pulleys, do all the light stuff or like everyone else said let go of the cl

I used to own a v8, and I don't compare the 2, cuz I know the difference.

About $4G's you gonna spend on the turbo and some upgrade, but not to mention the $$$ in repairs your gonna have to pay if you don't do things right. Turbo in my mind is a waist of money unless you are someone with money to burn, or race and everything on your car is paid for by an outside source, or your young and wanna impress the wrong field. But there fun while they last, that is if they last.

However if you really want info about turbo'ing a v6 or the comptech supercharger, you can look here, since we've covered it many times over

Honestley, the CL is never going to be a fast car. Its more of a crusing/looking good car. If you want speed, the CL just isn't the car for you.
