Transmission cooler install *help*

ok i looked at the diy for it, but it was on the 3.0...since i have a 2.3 is it the same return line? and which one is it? plus anyone that has done it on a 4cyl do i need to get more hose, because it doesnt look like it would reach.



1 or 2? thanks

hate to say it pimp but youll prolly gonna have to start the car and drive it for a while to see which one is cooler when you touch it. the cooler one is the return line. good luck pimp.

yep wilp's right. The return line will be cooler than the other. The other line won't be so hot that it will burn you and you won't have to drive for only a minute for the tranny to heat up. Actually I think you can engage the e-brake and then put it in drive and let the car set for a minute and that should do it.

no i touched both and they seemed the same to me. i drove around the block for like 5min. so i drive more? let the car warm all the way up then drive it?
